We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Oahu Fishing Guide to lead fishing excursions in the beautiful waters of Oahu. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about fishing, enjoy sharing their knowledge with others, and thrive in a customer-focused environment. As a guide, you will be responsible for providing an unforgettable experience for our clients while ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the trip.

Responsibilities

• Lead fishing trips in various locations around the north shore, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
• Educate clients on fishing techniques, local marine life, and environmental conservation practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Manage time effectively to ensure trips run on schedule and all planned activities are completed.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding trip details, safety protocols, and fishing regulations.
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding participants of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced anglers.
• Maintain equipment and ensure all fishing gear is in good working condition before each trip.
• Foster a positive group dynamic through public speaking and engaging interactions with clients.

Experience

• Previous experience as a fishing guide or in a related outdoor recreational role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Proven time management skills to ensure efficient operation of trips and activities.
• Leadership experience that demonstrates the ability to motivate and instruct participants effectively.
• A passion for educating others about fishing techniques, local ecosystems, and sustainable practices is essential.
